It is a type of mixer shower which keeps the water temperature constant through the thermostatic valve.

HOW DOES A THERMOSTATIC SHOWER WORK?

First of all, the thermostatic shower stores water at a high temperature in the valve. Then it will mix it with the cold water to the temperature you pre-set. The shower valve will make slight adjustments based on any changes in the water temperature so as to ensure that you have a full and comfortable shower.
